* There has been a call for prosecution of those behind cover-ups
* Victims have called for a wider, nationwide investigation
* Support groups have reported a "surge" in calls to helplines
* Some victims are calling for Pope Benedict to offer a personal apology to victims and to the nation
Again no surprise, those who hate the Church and her teachings - and even some who claim to love her - above & beyond justifiable anger, have been given a fertile new opportunity to unleash bitter invectives against her.
