That's proper protocol? Audio recordings related to murdered NJ priest's 911 call are released; In initial call, priest gives his address; When dispatcher calls back after being disconnected, the alleged killer answers the phone and denies that there is an emergency while the priest is heard in the background saying that there is an emergency; The person who answered the phone was not asked for his location or his name or the reason for the initial call, nor did the dispatcher ask to speak to the original caller or question why someone in the background still claimed there was an emergency; No police were dispatched and the priest was found murdered the next day, yet a spokesman claims that the "preliminary investigation indicates that the dispatcher followed the proper protocol" [11/5]
