A man with a history of mental problems reportedly "charged the altar" and attacked Bishop Genn at Easter Mass at the cathedral in Munster with a broom handle. The bishop, who "defended himself with an incense bowl", was apparently unharmed. The assailant - who also "attacked the Easter candle" - was arrested after being subdued by parishioners.
