Lawsuit challenges federal 'hate crimes' law

The Thomas More Law Center has filed a lawsuit to challenge the constitutionality of new federal 'hate crimes' legislation. The lawyer in charge of the case says the law "creates a special class of persons who are ‘more equal than others’ based on nothing more than deviant, sexual behavior." It is believed that the legislation may harm religious freedom by intimidating persons from expressing biblical condemnations of homosexual acts.
