Catholic Portugal is a step closer to legalizing gay 'marriage'

As predicted, Portugal's parliament has passed a bill to 'legalize' homosexual 'marriage' in the traditionally Catholic country. The measure must be reviewed in committee before coming back for a final vote. It is possible that the final vote will occur prior to Pope Benedict's May visit to the country.
